Humble Beginnings

Welcome! I'm Brantley Doctor, owner of Doctor Real Estate Group, LLC. I started this company to interact with those of us interested in buying and selling Real Estate. I got into Real Estate organically... through raising capital in both the stock market and the music industry. I found myself looking for ways to make my money work for me. Working in corporate America for 5+ years made me realize I needed to find more creative ways to generate income, as well as utilize capital. As we all know, throwing your money into a bank account gives you extremely low returns. As a daily participant in the stock market, I was again taken aback by the exit fees and taxes. Taking money out of the market is the equivalent to cutting your earnings in half. There had to be a better way to generate income. I stumbled upon Real Estate a couple years ago, first via tax-lien investments, later into rehab and renovation projects, and finally through mentorship/partnership. I love it here, and I am pleased with my experiences and the lessons learned along the way.
